Banana Club is pleased to introduce its Advisory Board, a group of respected leaders across curatorial practice, cultural production, finance, and cultural strategy who will support the organisation as it enters its next phase of institutional development.
Over the past several years, Banana Club has grown from a community-driven platform into an organisation working at the intersection of contemporary art, public discourse, and economic inclusion. Through programmes such as the Banana Club Artist Fund (BCAF), public dialogues, exhibitions, and research initiatives, the organisation has sought to create meaningful platforms for artists while contributing to broader cultural conversations across Sub-Saharan Africa.
As Banana Club continues to expand its programmes and partnerships, the establishment of an Advisory Board marks an important step in strengthening the organisation’s governance, long-term sustainability, and strategic direction.
The board will provide guidance across key areas including artist development, financial sustainability, advocacy, and international cultural positioning, supporting Banana Club’s mission to build platforms that connect artistic practice with social, cultural, and economic transformation.
